About me
Hello! My name is KG, and I am a recent doctor of mathematics, graduating from the University of Virginia in 2026 after working under Ken Ono. Mathematically, I am interested in number theory, primarily integer partitions and modular forms. Technically, I am interested in proof assistants, programming language design, code golfing, and TI calculator tooling, and will be starting a postdoctoral position at NYU Tandon in July 2026 concerning tactful and ethical applications of AI assistants to research-level mathematics.
Here you can find information on my academic ventures, including my publications and teaching experience. I also write a lot of code; research projects can be found here, with everything else on my primary GitHub page. I’ll also post to the blog from time to time, with the current medley posts mostly dedicated to “teensy problems” I’ve come up with in moments of boredom to share with friends.
